Texas Has a ProblemFinding how a Texas Legislator voted on a bill is like finding a needle in a haystack. To find a record vote you have to locate the correct Chamber Journal, scroll through hundreds of pages in a PDF document, copy/paste names into a spreadsheet, remove extra characters, sort the names one by one... The process is ridiculously complicated, takes countless hours, and constantly opens itself up to human error. |
